The Law Library Association of Greater New York (LLAGNY) elected me to a two year Board position. My term began on July 1, 2008. LLAGNY is "conducted as a not-for-profit corporation to promote the profession of law librarianship, to develop and increase the usefulness and efficiency of law libraries, to provide for the further professional education of law librarians and to foster a spirit of cooperation among the members of the profession, particularly in the New York City metropolitan area." [LLAGNY Constitution] I have been a member of LLAGNY since 2005.
I have been a member of the Special Libraries Association since 2004.
I have been a member of the American Association of Law Libraries since 2003.
I have been a member of the American Library Association since 2002 and am in its Government Documents Round Table.
